BIOGRAPHY

Vanessa Corridore is a civil litigator with a growing practice in insurance defence, primarily focused on motor vehicle accident and occupiers’ liability claims. She regularly represents at-fault drivers and insured parties in personal injury matters, bringing clarity, responsiveness, and a grounded approach to client service.

Before joining BPB LLP as an articling student and subsequently as an associate, Vanessa gained broad exposure to legal practice as a Law Clerk at a small firm, working on real estate transactions, estate matters, and corporate work. She also developed early advocacy skills through competitive mooting and a judicial internship with Her Honour Madam Justice Lucille Shaw via the Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice.

Vanessa is known for her warm, empathetic style — both with clients and opposing parties. Her communication style is tailored and thoughtful: she offers insured clients reassurance and plain-language guidance, while insurance professionals receive detailed, timely reporting and strategic updates.

During articling, Vanessa led a complex Small Claims Court file concerning construction-related insurance liability, taking carriage while the responsible lawyer was on leave. Although the trial was repeatedly adjourned, the trial preparation was a formative experience that sharpened her strategic thinking and client management skills.

Vanessa holds a strong commitment to fairness, accuracy, and respect in her practice — values that reflect BPB LLP’s broader emphasis on advocacy, integrity, and agility. Outside the office, she is an avid snowboarder, golfer, runner, and yogi, and enjoys fishing and other outdoor pursuits that help her recharge and connect with others.
