BIOGRAPHY
Eli Lipetz is an experienced civil litigator who represents clients across a broad spectrum of legal issues.
In his construction practise, Eli acts for homebuilders, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and trades of all kinds, as well as suppliers, engineers, and construction managers. He has experience in matters involving construction deficiencies and delays, building code violations, construction liens, and Tarion-related matters. Additionally, Eli handles subrogated claims for insurers, particularly in cases involving fire losses, flooding, and construction deficiencies.
Eli’s personal injury and occupiers’ liability practice includes the defence of complex and catastrophic motor vehicle accident injury claims. He is also preferred counsel for domestic and international airports throughout the province as well as professional sports and gaming complexes.
Known for his pragmatic and action-oriented approach to litigation, Eli is highly client-focused and trusted to assist in both early-stage investigations and during the course of the litigation.
