Eli Lipetz

Eli articled with Benson Percival Brown and joined the firm as an associate upon his call to the bar in 2011.  Eli was admitted to the partnership in 2020.

Eli’s practice is focused on insurance defence litigation covering a variety of matters including construction claims, professional liability, product liability, property damage, personal injury, and occupier’s liability.  He has a growing practice defending airports throughout Ontario as well as large multi-purpose sports and entertainment complexes.

Eli also advances subrogated claims on behalf of insurers with a focus on fire losses, flooding and construction deficiencies.

Eli completed his J.D. at Osgoode Hall Law School and has an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario.  He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Canadian Bar Association.
