BIOGRAPHY
Alexandra Bayani is an articling student at Benson Percival Brown LLP. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law, where she served as a Student Caseworker with Lakehead University Community Legal Services (“LUCLS”) during her second and third year. While at Lakehead, Alexandra was actively involved in the student community, holding executive positions with the Animal Justice Association and Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers in their respective Lakehead chapters.
Prior to joining BPB LLP, Alexandra developed experience in insurance defence litigation as a 2L Summer Student and Placement Student at a London-based law firm. During her placement, she represented a defendant in Small Claims Court and successfully obtained dismissal of the plaintiff’s claim.
Alexandra also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy from Western University.
Outside of the office, Alexandra enjoys exploring new coffee shops and bookstores, watching movies, and spending time with her family and friends.
