BIOGRAPHY
Shayan is a recent graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Psychology from York University, where he graduated summa cum laude in 2022 and received an award for achieving the highest cumulative GPA.
Shayan’s passion for law began at a young age, listening in as his mother mediated files for an insurance company. This early exposure to alternative dispute resolution, along with his involvement in mock trials and mooting throughout his academic journey, sparked a long-standing interest in advocacy and litigation.
During law school, Shayan focused on the LDA curricular stream (Litigation, Dispute Resolution and the Administration of Justice) and gained practical experience through practicums. He also did volunteer work with both the Community and Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP) and the Community Legal Clinic of York Region (CLCYR). Shayan is eager to gain firsthand experience with the client-facing side of litigation and to develop as a persuasive advocate.
Outside of the office, Shayan enjoys listening to music, staying active—playing tennis and pickleball—and is an avid fan of basketball, hockey, and soccer. He proudly supports the Toronto Raptors, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and Chelsea FC.
