BIOGRAPHY
Marco Kim is an articling student at Benson Percival Brown LLP, supporting litigation teams in insurance defence, municipal liability, and regulatory matters. Reliable, detail-oriented, and approachable, he contributes research, drafting, and case preparation that advance strong, client-focused advocacy.
Marco earned his Juris Doctor at Western University’s Faculty of Law, where he was active in mooting and served as co-president of the Labour and Employment Law Society in his final year. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from McGill University. Recognized for his academic excellence, Marco received the Baker & McKenzie Award in International Business Transactions in June 2025. He is expected to be called to the Bar of Ontario in June 2026.
His developing practice reflects a commitment to integrity, empathy, and diligence. Marco has experience as a summer law student assisting in litigation and continues to build expertise in insurance and civil litigation under the mentorship of BPB LLP’s senior lawyers. He is particularly interested in professional liability and regulatory compliance, areas where his practical, transparent approach benefits both clients and colleagues.
Outside of law, Marco enjoys searching used bookstores for rare finds, baking a wide variety of sweets, and practicing the martial art of naginata. His colleagues value both his thoroughness and his approachable nature, qualities that reflect BPB LLP’s values of advocacy, integrity, and agility.
